--- Stick Walking ---
---
When recording the January month’s contribution (celt) I just felt to shoot this one too... I mean, sometimes (very often) you must have fun... not being too serious all the time... This song is “stolen” from the local band Offentlig Sektor and is spiced with a little “animal-attitude”.
What happens when Steve Vai come for a visit? I mean, he must jam – and we have a studio... Perhaps this could be the answer :)
Check last year, same month – and then you will hear the original song...
--- Celt ---
the melody
the inspiration clip
---
I have discovered Mike Oldfield... :) Anyone you heard about? This month I will share some tricks from the legend... I know the music-police will hunt for blood when hearing these little different versions of the master/legends melody, but the clips are not a 100% copy of the original tones and that's the point, fellows ;-)
First clip suppose to be normal...? I think the clip is sound best when using your fingers only, no pick (finger pluck). But as a training/practice-example it will be good trying it with the pick as well...
Click here for another good demostrated example (from YouTube)
To avoid confusion my guitar is tuned 2 steps down if anyone wonder... I have written the scores in D Major...
The second clip is just a little inspiration piece in the same spirit... or...?
--- Super Mario Theme ---
---
Inspiration this month is taken from the world of Super Mario, finding on YouTube site...
Very fun and inspired chops... Enjoy!
--- Arrangement View - Part I ---
Liberty City
Jimi's Tribute
Battlefield
---
It could sound like this when arrange a song... These arrangements are from the original songs but without the channels of lead guitars, drums and bass... just pads, brass, pianos and melodies...
--- Johan Ekfeldt ---
---
This month I will share a radio-hit from my friend Johan Ekfeldt. Enjoy!
--- Studio test... preview and theoretical stuff part I ---
high pitch chop
jimi's tribute chop
---
I will do test recordings this autumn/winter... just checking computers, mixer boards, microphones, machines, amps, plug-ins and other stuffs... Here are selected guitar-chops from two songs that will be re-recorded in the studio test.
Read here for more info about the project
---
High Pitch chop:
Many tones "in a small area", so keep up and watch your fingers - don't lace them up :)
Jimi's Tribute chop:
Another tricky chop but now it's wide distance between tones, so stretch out and breathe in...
--- Studio test... preview and theoretical stuff part II ---
battlefield chop
night vision chop
---
I will do test recordings this autumn/winter... just checking computers, mixer boards, microphones, machines, amps, plug-ins and other stuffs... Here are selected guitar-chops from two another songs that will be re-recorded in the studio test.

---
Battlefield chop:
From the ending part of the song. Many tones and positions to memorize. Focus will be the key and don't try any rock 'n roll poses when trying this chop :)
Night Vision chop:
Very tricky part with many "jumps" between strings and uncomfortable positions
--- MIXED CHOPS 1 ---
---
Here comes two different selected guitar-chops from future projects... Just explore for yourself...
--- DRUMZ ---
Groove du Rim
Sync the Beat
Som' Bossa 1
Som' Bossa 2
Groove du Bump
---
Practice and testing drums from the studio...
It was a long time ago... But now I will try to keep up the line much better :)
--- BAZZ ---
Funky Boo
Funky Baa
Funky Buu
Funky Bee
---
This month I will share some jam sessions from the studio, with mixed clips from the Studio Test-project...
Funky Boo is the Funky part - Jimi's Tribute
Funky Baa is just a pre-jam...
Funky Buu is from the middle part of Higher Ground (a little different version of Stevie Wonder's song with some background instruments).
Funky Bee is from the ending part of Night Vision (with some background instruments)...
--- DIGGER ---
---
I'm glad to share some digging tones from my friend Mikael Andrén... Check his sites for more music and info...
A talent musician who play all instruments, write/sing his own songs, has his own studio... I'm sure we will hear more from Micke in the future...

Ending this year with a flashback to Xmas theme with the song Andrea, it's Xmas! - from the album Phraseology. I have turned off all instruments except the Lead Guitar to make it easier hearing all the chops. You also have the opportunity to check/print the original scores if necessary...
Enjoy! It's free :)
